We are delighted to invite you to the Workshop on Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), held as part of the 9th International Conference on Photonics Research — INTERPHOTONICS 2027.

Bringing together researchers, clinicians, engineers and industry professionals, this workshop will provide an interactive forum to exchange ideas, discuss emerging OCT technologies and explore new opportunities in biomedical imaging and industrial inspection.

Topics of Interest

• OCT system design, light sources and detection technologies

• Spectral-domain and swept-source OCT

• Functional OCT, OCT angiography and polarization-sensitive imaging

• Image processing, artificial intelligence and quantitative analysis

• Clinical and biomedical applications

• Industrial inspection, material characterization and nondestructive testing

An Interactive Format

The workshop will feature short presentations of 5–10 minutes, followed by panel discussions and audience-led questions. Participants are encouraged to share recent findings, practical challenges and open research questions, creating opportunities for constructive debate and future collaboration.

We welcome contributions from both established specialists and early-career researchers working on OCT technologies and their applications.
